Tools to Catalyze Your Practice

A card deck allows multiple ways for us to engage with the concepts of Liberatory Design. In fact, we designed, for the first time, a custom booklet that offers a range of activities you can do with the cards as an individual or team. Sorting the cards, using them as shared visuals, and posting them up on the wall can deepen your practice!

The original 2017 and 2020 Liberatory Design card decks were created by our Founder, Tania Anaissie, Victor Cary, David Clifford, Tom Malarkey, and Susie Wise.

This 2026 version was designed by Tania Anaissie to respond to feedback from global practitioners and to include new mindsets, activities, and language that we’ve evolved in our practice at Beytna Design.

This 2026 deck edition includes new mindsets, custom illustrations by our designer Nicolle Rockstroh, and a booklet full of activity ideas to put your deck to use!

We are a small, one-person shipping operation! We promise orders will be mailed at least once a week in a large batch. If you have a time-sensitive timeline, please send us a message and we can expedite the process for you.

Yes! We set up our shop to ship internationally, but please bare with us as we figure out any glitches that may occur along the way. Please notify us if the website says it cannot ship to your location or quotes a very high shipping price. We can troubleshoot quickly!

You can return your order within 14 days of the package arrival date if the contents are not damaged and the card decks are still in their original paper seal. The buyer is responsible for paying for return shipping. If an item arrives damaged, please send us a photograph with details, and we will get back to you shortly.
